For our high voltage testing room we need a discharge choke. The choke should be free of any hum noise. To adapt it to various operation conditions it should be possible to switch several inductances.
Solution
We develop a one phase choke with several tappings which respectfully give various inductances. To avoid hum noise the induction is adapted accordingly. With a number of isolation barriers we can reach the necessary dielectric strength.
