Usable for X-ray units, lasers, heavy duty light sources, copy machines, telecommunication engineering (transmission stations with high power, transmission valves), medical technology (shock waves used to shatter kidney stones), research (driving generators for particle accelerators), manufacturing techniques (varnishing and coating machines as well as high speed forming by shock waves), examination of EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) (by means of high field intensity), lightning protective systems and overvoltage preventers, environmental protection (electrostatic filter), recycling (shock waves used to shatter and separate particles), the manufacturing of components (e.g. capacitors) or paper making, in television devices and copy machines, in ignition systems (e.g. automobile electronics) and for water conditioning by producing ozone.
