For the development of hand-held surgery robots we need stator coils with very small and accurate dimensions. With these surgery systems it is possible to combine robotics and computer-assisted navigation with manual methods. This enables an optimisation of precise positioning during surgeries.
Nine interlinked stator coils which are potted very precisely with moulding tools to be able to redeem the required dimension tolerances of +/- 0,1 mm. The total dimensions may not be bigger than 60 x 32,6 x 1,6 mm.
